Welcome to my website.

I remember hearing about one of the older surgeon’s saying, “ I can operate on anyone, but I can not heal anyone.” In other words he was saying, I can take out my patient’s gallbladder, appendix or amputate their foot that has gangrene. I can perform a kidney, liver or heart
transplant, but after the surgery, I can not heal them. I have to wait on GOD, who has already placed in man, the healing process.

One of the medical students walked into the operating room and said, “We surgeon’s are gods.” I responded by saying, “surgeons are not gods, but that GOD is GOD. It is GOD with the surgeons, helping them to operate on patients, and giving them knowledge, understanding, and skills in surgical procedures and in total patient care.” I had the privilege of giving an anesthetic for a prostatectomy (removal
of the prostate gland) on a patient with prostate cancer. During the surgery, we lost three units of blood ( l500 cc) in a very short period of time, which is not uncommon on a prostatectomy, and was replaced right away. After the bleeding was stopped and the blood replaced, the
G.U. Surgeon said to his resident assistant, “Being a surgeon can be very humbling.” I responded by saying, “being an anesthesia provider is very humbling also.” What were we saying? We were saying, that we need GOD, to help us do this job of surgery and anesthesia. We can not do it alone without HIM (GOD).

Anything can happen at anytime doing an operation, but with GOD there with us, helping us, we are therefore confident, that every surgical procedure will be successful because HE guides our hands to do our jobs, and we are so thankful to Him.
